Careers at Adamopoulos Consulting
Senior advisory work,
from your first engagement
We are a small team and we intend to stay selective about who joins it. The work is demanding, varied and close to the client. From the beginning, you are expected to understand the business, work with the numbers and contribute to the answer — not just prepare the material behind it.
We do not hire often. When we do, we look for people who are commercially aware, financially strong and comfortable taking responsibility for their work.
Four things,
all four matter
Business mindset
You understand how a business works beyond the spreadsheet. You can connect the numbers to what is happening in sales, operations and management — and see what needs attention. You do not need to have seen every situation before. You do need to be curious about how the business actually works.
Financial fluency
You are comfortable with financial statements, models and forecasts. You understand what sits behind the numbers, where they come from and when they do not make sense. You should be able to explain a financial point clearly — whether you are speaking to management, a banker or an auditor.
Clear thinking, clear writing
A large part of our work ends up on paper — in a report, a business plan, a financial analysis or a recommendation to management. We value people who can take something complex, understand what matters and explain it without making it sound more complicated than it is.
Discretion
We work closely with business owners and management teams and often deal with information that is sensitive, unfinished or simply not meant to travel. Discretion is part of the job. We expect good judgement about what is said, what is shared and where.
